SAE InstituteSnapchat Case Study
SAE Institute offers an exciting range of creative media courses across four UK campuses. In May 2016, SAE came to Touchpoint Digital with the goal of increasing brand awareness while exhibiting at MCM Comic Con London. They needed something fun and creative that reflected the brand and would also engage the audience.
Touchpoint recommended that SAE utilise Snapchat’s On-Demand Geofilter for this event. Snapchat is the latest up and coming platform for the younger demographic and is also a platform that allows creativity, through the Geo-lenses, Geofilters, and stickers available. Touchpoint booked an On-Demand Geofilter for the 3-day event, geo-fencing the filter around Excel London (the venue of MCM Comic Con).
Over the 3-day event, SAE saw increased engagement from the Snapchat Geofilter, with 3,800 people using the filter and 325,438 views working out at less than 1 penny per view!
