In September 2017, the University of Bath got in touch with Touchpoint and wanted to see if we could help develop a strategy to boost the awareness in their Computer Science course.
The University of Bath had recently enjoyed a resurgence in their ranking and wished to consolidate their position and retain the interest in their course.
This is where Touchpoint came in. We worked closely with the University and devised a strategic plan to maximise the interest in their Computer Science course, across the UK and internationally. We recommended that they advertised using both a blended social and search campaign as well as introducing the use of Snapchat, which the University of Bath had not used before. This meant that our campaign appealed to their key demographic of A Level Students. We suggested this as it had often performed well in the past for similar campaigns.
Ultimately the campaign was very successful. The campaign overall helped drive a 70% uplift in applications for the University of Bath in both the Home and Overseas market. Engagement rates were 9X the industry standard and the advertising for the webinars was nearly 8X more efficient than similar campaigns.
Due to the overwhelming success of this partnership, we will continue our relationship with the University of Bath on any forthcoming projects.
